Chinese Antique Carved Wall Section

The Block is approximately 300 years old from the Late Ming Dynasty.

This portion of wall originated in the village of Zhoumatang near Ningbo city in the Province of Zhejiang. The village was the birth place of the chen family who have lived in the village for 16 generations. This family was animportant mandarin family wholse ancestors included politicaians and army generals. The stone block came from one of the houses owned by the Chen family.
